After running a successful and positive campaign in Welland ward or Market Harborough, our three candidates beat the opposition in the election to return all three seats in this multi-member ward.

This is a tribute to the hard work of our volunteers to return such a convincing turn around for the ward where the Green party had been a regular 3rd place after the Conservatives and Liberal Democrats. The council as a whole fell to no overall control and so we are please to announce that not only have we returned our first councillors we have also formed part of the new administration by enering a traffic light coalition.
